Van der Velden Marine Systems is dedicated to the specific needs of all types of oceangoing vessels. In the Oceangoing Vessels division we operate under the name Van der Velden Barkemeyer. Our activities include the engineering, construction and installation of manoeuvring systems. We are specialized in customized solutions with regard to complete manoeuvring packages, including rudders, rudder trunks, streamline bodies, steering gear, nozzles and silent EPS™ thruster and propulsion systems.
Both customers and yards benefit from an easy to install and integrated solution, a unified overall design and one project coordinator for the manoeuvring system.
