Catering isn't just about meals, but also includes newspapers and magazines, headsets, documents, crockery, cutlery and non-food items. We can also supply a wide range of drinks. We differentiate between three types of meals within the meal provisions:
- Western meals
- Route specific meals
- Special meals
Western meals: The Western meal service is linked to the time of day. We provide a fast and efficient service during night flights and a more extensive service during day flights. We provide Business Class, Tourist Class and crew meals for intercontinental and European flights.
Route specific meals (RDS = route dedicated service): The route specific service on flights to and from the Far East has led to the introduction of a route specific meal. For example, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Indian.
Special meals: KCS can cater for a large variety of dietary meals, vegetarian meals and meals for people from various different religious denominations. There are a total of 14 different special meals. This includes baby, children's, fruit, Hindu and Muslim meals, but also fat free or salt free meals.
