EMS Ship Supply provide marine and offshore supplies, marine equipment, spare parts and services. We supply to ships of every kind and to the offshore industry.
EMS Ship Supply is a division of Eitzen Maritime Services ASA (EMS), listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

We have experienced considerable growth over the last couple of years, mainly through acquisitions. We are capable to serve you as a customer through our extended worldwide network covering the North- and South America, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia.
The acquisition of Spanish Provimar in 2007 provided EMS with a strong position in the Mediterranean and on the Iberian Peninsula. All previous Provimar operations in Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, Morocco, Croatia, Uruguay, Argentina and the USA are now being operated under the EMS Ship Supply brand.
The 2008 acquisition of Seven Seas Shipchandlers, with headquarters and warehouse facilities in Dubai and operations throughout the Middle east, gave EMS Ship Supply a leading position also in this region, which is one of the world's most dynamic and fast growing.

CORPORATE MILESTONES
- 2008, 9 June - EMS acquires Seven Seas Shipchandlers
- 2008, 25 April - Sold Strømme-NME AS, the manufacturer of lifeboats and other maritime equipment
- 2007, 2 June - EMS acquires Provimar
- 2007, 1 February - Strømme changes name to EMS Ship Supply
- 2006 As of March 2006 the merger between Stromme ASA and Tesma was officially carried through and Stromme ASA changed name to Eitzen Maritime Services ASA.
- 2005 Acquired Norwegian Maritime Equipment AS
- 2004 Stromme hired the Scandinavian sales department from Kopcke/Kubo in Holland to strengthen the Marine and Offshore Supply Service.
- 2003 Stromme acquired the operational activity from Legend Nautilus in Singapore.
- 2002 Acquired Hoff Ship Service GmbH in Hamburg to strengthen the Marine Spare Parts Supply Service.
- 2001 Acquired ITS Norway AS with their sister companies in Germany, Poland and France. The acquisition was done to strengthen both the Marine Product and the Marine Spare Part Service in Stromme. Acquired 50% of the company Crosscomar in Gibraltar, Spain to establish the Marine Service segment.
- 2000 Merged with the company Teco Maritime ASA on a 50/50 basis and were listed on the Oslo Stock exchange.
- 1999 Stromme merged with the company Nauteknik AS to strengthen the safety side of the Marine Products segment.
- 1996 Acquired Hans K. Madsen BV in Holland to build a complete solution in the Marine and Offshore Supply segment.
- 1992 Established a business in Singapore
- 1983 The first subsidiary was established in England. This was the start of the Marine Spare Part concept trading European spare parts to the Marine Industry.
- 1971 Established in Oslo by Mr. Bjørn Strømme
