What Can I do on i-Scope.com?

i-Scope is a Presentation and Marketing website, for companies and privates. Everyone can present themselves with dynamic multimedia files, through mini-websites. It is the best alternative to be on the internet with an unique presentation, with the same characteristics as an external hosted customized website. I-Scope is a professional tool to help companies with their marketing to get their website higher ranked for the search engines like Google and Bing. Besides that i-Scope is also a search engine, but it searches only in Scopes, user profiles and groups.

What is a Scope?

A Scope is a presentation and a combination of files from music, photo, video and/or text files, etc. You can make and manage a scope yourself. You can add a price, share it with friends, place it in a group or make it your favourite or title scope. Every Scope can be attached with an exclusive URL, linked it to a website or webpage and lots of Tags.

Is i-Scope free, of do I have to pay?

I-Scope is FREE. You can upload as many Scopes as you like. Every Scope will be embedded with an advertisement. You can join a premium account and herewith you exclude ads from your Scopes. The price of the premium account depends on the ad free quantity of Scopes you request.

Can I place files on i-Scope myself?

I-Scope.com is a site for individuals and companies. We regard everybody as equals!  The website includes the Scopes of many different individuals, companies, authorities, institutions, clubs, foundations, organisations etc.  We (the site owners), do not direct what is placed on the site, that’s why we like to invite you to come and place your own Scopes!

Can I delete and change my Scopes myself?

Yes, it’s very easy to change or delete your own files, that’s why so many people are choosing i-Scope! Why should you choose to build your own EXPENSIVE website, when you can control everything yourself at i-Scope, without needing a designer, hosting costs, maintenance etc? If you have already your own site, be aware of the possibility of integrating our Flash Player into your website. Easy accessible and changing or adding your media files as much as you like.

Is i-Scope safe?

We endeavour to make i-Scope very reliable and safe. We promise you to do the best performances, so that you can work without any problems with i-scope.com. Of course we can not guarantee.

Can I download from i-Scope?

Downloading is punishable! At i-Scope you can visit, view and listen to other user’s Scopes. In effect you can go and visit someone else; you  become their guest. As a guest, therefore, it is expected that you will behave yourself in a normal fashion and abide by the house rules. If you do download something we will be able to see this and we will notify the authorities.

What kind of files can I upload?

You can upload all the usual files like: mpg, mov, mpeg, 3gp, mp3, mp4, flv, jpeg, etc. In the future i-Scope will always support the latest file formats, giving you the opportunity to keep your Scopes up to date with the newest trends!

Can I vet a Scope which I don’t like and report it?

There are always people in the world who don’t have much, or any, good taste and who just want to offend others with their extreme porno, religious, or political expressions. We do not like this either and we want to track down these kinds of extreme Scopes and take them out of public circulation. You can help by notifying us of any such breaches by using the Report Button! Then i-Scope can take measures to get rid of these tasteless annoyances.

Can I advertise my company through i-Scope?

Yes, because i-Scope is its own internal search-engine where companies can reach large groups of people on i-Scope.com. Therefore, i-Scope can be a great addition, or even replacement of your (other) websites. I-Scope is easy to understand and to work with, every Scope is effective and in way an independent website.

Can I contact other i-Scope users?

Yes, of course; you can send a message (PM) to any Scope owner. You can also place a direct comment under any Scope. You send, and receive messages to/from all your friends. With every Scope and Profile, visitors can contact you directly.

Can everybody view my files?

You decide whether everybody can see/hear your Scopes (Public setting). You can also choose to share your Scope only with your friends (Friends-only setting), or store Scopes just for yourself (Private setting).

Yes,  i-Scope.com is a site where content can be founded, but only on our website!! All Scopes and profiles can be linked to other websites and web-pages.

There doesn’t seem to be very much that interests me, what should I do?

I-Scope is a site-in-progress, so because we don’t search for, or in, other websites, it maybe that you can’t immediately find what you’re looking for.  That’s a pity of course, but it’s not actually such a big problem- by all means check out other sites for what you are looking for!  We are sure i-Scope has enough other positive things to be of interest, even in the beginning!  Look at the Scopes we suggest you at the start-page and then you will soon see the advantages.

How does the Geo-map works?

I-Scope works with Google GeoMaps. You can use the road map or the satellite viewer and enlarge, or reduce this, as you like. 

How can I search for and find something on i-Scope?

The search functionality at i-Scope is very easy to use; you just type a word or more words in the search box (who, what or where) and i-Scope presents you a selection list.  You can search in profiles, Scopes and Groups. You can also search more specific in only Scopes, Groups or Profiles.

What are Tags?

A Tags is a keyword to someone’s Scope. It’s easy to find the Scope through these words. Scope user’s like to be searched on this specific tags. Also important for better search results in other search engines.

Can I place my own advert at i-Scope.com?

Every Scope and account is a presentation or an advertisement. Companies can advertise in Scopes, from free members. It is not possible for a scope owner to advertise. We just advise to change or add information in a Scope, because this will put your Scope in top of the search list.

How can I pay for my subscription?

You can pay through the most usually accepted credit cards, or by bank transaction, or even using SMS mobile banking services. (This may differ from country to country).

How can I get rid of the adverts in my Scopes?

If you are a basic Scope user and you haven’t a premium account, then you can expect that some adverts may be included into your own Scopes. If you really don’t want these adverts appearing into your Scopes you can specify this in your profile page and choose to have a premium account, then you have the option to skip adverts from your Scopes. Now the adverts will no longer appears in your Scopes!

Can I make my Scope stand out more than others?

No, this is not possible. We can recommend you, to change the files and text from your Scopes on regular basis. This is important to be on the top of the list again. In i-Scope active users are more successful!

How long do my files remain on i-Scope?

There is no time limit of the period your Scope will be published in i-Scope. It is up to you.

How many files can a Scope contain?

There are no limits of the quantity of files you can enter into a Scope. We will not advise you to upload heavy video’s. We convert files and this can take a while.

How many Scopes can I make?

You can make as many Scope as you like. All Scopes will be provided with ads. If you have a premium account you can mark the Scopes that you prefer without ads. All other scopes will have ads.

Can I be linked to my own (other) site, or Email address?

Yes, all scopes can be linked to any website or web-page. Besides this you can link your profile also to webpages and email.

The i-Scope site is available in every country where Scopes are placed online in the languages supported by i-Scope. At the moment only in English and Dutch. We will expand our business in different countries to be an international player.

We expect that everyone who places a Scope will invite his/her friends to visit i-Scope and in this way our snowball effect will continue to grow. The i-Scope public can be everyone between 6 and 100 years old, but mostly visiting i-Scope for B2B and B2C.
